You wake up late on Monday and don’t have time to make coffee. Would you go without your morning pick-me-up or would you spray caffeine on yourself?
While we’d hate to go without our coffee, Sprayable Energy made headlines back in 2013 when they reached 1,133% of their Indiegogo goal of $15,000 to produce sprayable bottles of caffeine. Clearly a lot of people liked the idea of quick, easy caffeine boost.
The inventor, Ben Yu, has a PhD in science but we failed to find evidence of peer-reviewed analysis. So does it work? Business Insider put it to the test with mixed results (and it’s worth mentioning that the placebo effect no doubt had an impact).
