We like to talk about our high-quality Arabica coffee, but there are many more coffee species – all with their own unique characteristics and flavour profiles. And so when we took a trip to Coffea Diversa in Costa Rica, we asked them to show us one of the lesser-known ones: Liberica.
Introducing Liberica Coffee
Arabica coffee is different to Liberica in many ways – the most noticeable of which is the size. This tree can grow up to 19 m high, with huge leaves and large cherries.
But there are many more differences than that. So discover how else Liberica is different to Arabica, when it harvests, and why its coffee flower tea is so popular in this short video.
