This week, thousands of coffee shop owners, roasters, importers/exporters, producers, baristas, and coffee lovers are flying into Budapest for World of Coffee 2017.
We’re talking 3 days of exhibiting, 5 World Coffee Championships (Brewers Cup, Cup Tasters, Latte Art, Coffee in Good Spirits, and Cezve/Ibrik), 1 Sustainability Forum, a lecture series, numerous cuppings, and a lot of fantastic coffee.
And that’s without mentioning Budapest’s third wave coffee shops. Earlier this year, Astoria went to Budapest to explore the specialty coffee scene. Here’s what they discovered.
