Would You Drink a Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey Coffee?

Cup of Joe? No, thanks – I’ll have a cup of Jack.

We’ve written about coffee and alcohol combinations before. But it’s normally coffee-infused alcohol or coffee mixed with alcohol after brewing. In other words, it’s alcoholic.

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey Coffee, however, is coffee infused with Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7. Just like coffee, whiskey comes in a variety of notes, origins, and blends. Old No. 7 is known for its notes of caramel, vanilla, and smoked oak, as well as its medium body. The coffee beans used are a medium roast, adding to that body.

Although Jack Daniel’s is listed as an ingredient, the product is non-alcoholic. The creators (Jack Daniel’s and World of Coffee, Inc.) say the alcohol simply adds a taste and aroma. The beans will be available as ground coffee only, and as regular or decaf.
